Excavation Project #1

The little digger got a chance to test her skills at Gaurav's volleyball game. After first using echolocation to attempt to capture the moths that were attracted by the lights (night game) I then taught her that digging in sand is fun (and allowed, unlike digging the townhome association's grass.) She was overjoyed to dig. Fantastically excited. Thrilled, you might say. She dug till she was exhausted, and at several points, beyond. She was actually laying on her side, very tired, but continued to dig from that position. As if the fate of the world might depend on her not giving up the dig. I tried to encourage her to dig by saying "where's China?" But people started to look at me funny.
